Summary:
The Head of HR is responsible for a broad range of functions pertaining to the Montevideo office including Human Resources, Administration, Labor Policy, Legal Affairs and Facility Management.
Responsibilities:
• Human Resources
o Oversee and build the HR function
o Partner with Senior Management to ensure HR processes are in line with business objectives.
o Initiate, facilitate and implement HR programs, initiatives to promote ongoing development of the staff
o Develop, deliver and facilitate recruitment strategy and process
o Guide and support managers with processes associated with performance management, retention strategies and employee development.
o Provide coordination and guidance on employment issues.
o Work with external partners to manage employee benefits and payroll
• Administration
o Ensure the maintenance of all HR and administrative record keeping to meet requirements for personnel, compliance, audit, worker’s compensation, insurance and legal claims.
• Legal Affairs
o Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary in the areas of Corporate and Labor law.
o Liaise with Corporate Global counsel
o Ensure the Company complies with Labor Standards and Regulations
• Office Management
o Oversee the office management function; including purchasing and facility management.
Requirements:
• At least 8-10 years of HR management experience in a fast paced environment.
• Business proficiency in Spanish and English Languages
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership as a member of the senior management team.
• Diploma in Human Resources or related degree and experience
• Strong initiative and solid decision making skills and abilities
• Strong background in all HR functions including setting up processes both operational and strategic.
• Availability to work in Zonamerica.
