Kaszek Ventures, Latin America’s leading Venture Capital firm, is expanding its team and adding a high-potential Lawyer to work in its Montevideo offices (Zonamerica).
THE POSITION:
The Lawyer will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with the COO and the legal team in all legal matters related to deal closings and fund management. This includes:

Coordinating due diligence reports with law firms across Latin America.

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate contracts including term sheets, financing documents, sale and purchase agreements, tax covenants, investment and shareholder agreements and equity incentive plans.

Keeping track of all transaction documents and following up with post-closing obligations.

Providing broad commercial legal advice and assistance on new and follow on investments, divestments and other transactions; managing the legal risks of the business.

Supporting all legal matters related to the funds, the Management Company and investments made by Kaszek.

Providing legal support on ad hoc legal matters.

Since 1999 to 2011, Hernan Kazah, Nicolas Szekasy and Nicolas Berman worked together as co-founder/COO, CFO and VP of Marketing at MercadoLibre, today the largest Latin American company in terms of market capitalization.
