Abby Design is a ground-breaking BIM modelling company supplying precast concrete detail drawings across all disciplines to our client XL Precast, a leading precast fabricator based in Sydney, Australia. We have been at the forefront of precast BIM modelling for over 10 years and are always striving to design and implement project solutions for our client.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Entry Level Architectural Technician, you will join an extremely busy, energetic and enthusiastic precast design team and will be responsible for the hands-on Revit modelling and detailing of multiple buildings across Australia. These include but are not limited to aged care facilities, schools, universities, residential apartments, commercial buildings and industrial buildings. This position requires you to be confident with Revit and have medium to advanced English-speaking skills. You will be required to work independently at times and more importantly add further value to our existing highly experienced team.
YOUR ROLE.
As a part of the design team, you will be responsible for managing a steady workload and contributing to the overall success of the department. You will be tasked with producing high quality Erection and Shop Drawings on a wide range of projects using Revit.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCEED.
To be successful in this team, you will need Tertiary qualifications relevant to Architecture, Engineering or Drafting. You'll be proficient with Revit and Microsoft programs.
As well as producing high quality drawings you will be an 'out of the box' thinker as well as collaborating with a team that is passionate and driven, therefore it is important you are a team player and have a positive approach to your work. You will also require a good eye for detail and an ability to think laterally.
Prior experience in precast is not essential but will be highly regarded.

Working hours geared to suit the Australian market beginning at 1.00pm and finishing 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.00am to 7.00pm Friday.
