Magento 2 Technical Leader

121eCommerce, is a company based on Cleveland, Ohio with its core development team currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are looking to expand our team to other countries and in this case for an experienced Magento 2 developer with leadership abilities to manage a work group and kickstart operations in Uruguay.

He will be responsible technically of a development team, helping in any technical needs that may arise. He will be also who is in charge of maintaining a good workspace, carry on big projects and he will be the link between management and development.



Responsibilities:

Handle all development cycle of the projects from beginning to end.
Being in charge of a development team and working with offices in differents countries to deliver the best project possible
Look after the code made by the team and do code reviews.
Give advice to team to teach them how to face new challenges always respecting good practices and having into consideration the re-usability and maintenance in the future.
Work constantly in the improvement of the qualifications of the developers who are direct reports
Work with other technical leaders and with management to always provide the best solution possible.
Show fast problem solving skills when an emergency arise.
Show estimation skills and give constant feedback in the team improvement.


Required skills:

At least 6 years PHP experience
Solid experience with MySQL databases and their management
Advanced knowledge in HTML / CSS and responsive design
Knowledge in JS libraries like RequireJS and JQuery
Design Patterns like service contacts pattern, composite pattern, observer pattern, factory pattern, object manager pattern and proxy pattern.
At least 2 years working on magento 2.
Previous experience leading a team of developers
Previous experience working with GIT and its various flows.
Advanced English skills (writing and spoken)
Experience working in project architecture and best development practices.
Good code analysis
