We have over 35 years of history and more than 500 factories over 40 countries use our software to plan, optimise and keep track of their production. Our strength is our specialist software for Paper, Board, Plastic Films, Packaging, Nonwovens, Metals and Converting industries.
We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our development team based in Montevideo. You will join us during a time of rapid growth and exciting change as we expand our range of features and products as well as our customer base!
The role is varied and involves a combination of:
• Coding, doing peer reviews and writing tests
• Analysing requirements and designing solutions
• Helping people from other areas in matters related to the products
You will be part of an international team, interacting with colleagues of UK, Greece, USA, China, Finland, France and more.
Requirements:
• Exposure to .Net development using C#
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Relational Databases
• Knowledge about Web Services and Web Development is welcome but not mandatory
• Familiarity with Version Control, Agile Development and Unit Testing
A Computer Science / Software Engineering degree is a plus, but advanced students are also welcome. Previous working experience is advantageous but not mandatory. You need to have a reasonable level of English in order to communicate with colleagues outside Montevideo.
