To comply with the changing regulatory environment and reduce vendor-related risks, the Altisource Vendor Management Operations (VMO) department has established an independent Vendor Oversight team responsible for executing the due diligence process for all vendors engaged by Altisource. The Vendor Oversight Manager will be in charge of running a team of young professionals handling this sensitive assignment, which is instrumental to the success of the Company.
The responsibilities of the Manager will include:
•Define, implement, and manage core vendor oversight processes including vendor certification, administration, audit and compliance
•Lead monthly vendor oversight cross-functional meetings with business units, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure vendor risk exposures are mitigated
•Establish operational procedures to ensure efficient review of vendor documents and maintenance of vendor oversight checklists
•Provide periodic reports to business units and Compliance teams on vendor compliance with oversight requirements
•Coordinate with business unit compliance managers to perform vendor due diligence reviews per the compliance calendar
•Develop a robust repository of vendor due diligence documents and support compliance on internal and external audit reviews
•Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to maintain alignment with industry best practices and to ensure the universe of evolving laws and regulations are adequately covered in the review process
The Manager, Vendor Oversight must have:
•Excellent English communication both written and verbal
•Experience managing large cross-functional teams
•Graduate from a reputed college; MBA preferable
•Work experience of 3-5 years in operational roles preferably in banking/financial services
•Six Sigma certification/Project Management experience and or demonstrated process improvement experience would be highly desirable
