Job Summary:
The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the Industry Relations & Marketing team by managing the operational aspects of the consumer website solution rollout as well as ongoing operational support and maintenance. Partner with TLG Solutions and Technology team and 3rd party website vendor to create and maintain the SOP for all back of the house operational processes for consumer website creation and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Partner with existing website solution provider to manage operational aspects of migrating consumer website sites from current to new consumer website solution
*Liaison with Nexion Travel Group advisors on website migration questions and needs via conference calls and/or video calls fielding customer data migration questions, configuration needs/troubleshooting depending on business model as well as coaching advisors on permission based marketing functionality within proprietary CRM solution
*Execute data analysis between two different data sets, analyze data set differentials and communicate to travel advisors the outcome of analysis. Export data from one data source and import into new CRM solution.
*Support Industry Relations & Marketing team on performance reporting needs. Leverage Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and proprietary CRM query tool to pull specific data, summarize and analyze results. Present to Industry Relations & Marketing team for review. Analyze reports, manipulate and summarize data for bi-monthly email communication to advisors.
*Serve as back-up for business to business and business to consumer marketing scheduling and sending via IBM Watson (Silver pop) marketing automaton program.
*Partner with Industry Relations and Marketing team to post consumer offers on our agent intranet site Works with suppliers to assure that all product information is accurate and current.
Requirements:
*Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
*Experience working with novice end-users over the phone trouble-shooting user problems.
*Analytical experience necessary. Advanced user of Excel, understanding of relational databases & query building with primary key fields. Ability to analyze data & communicate results to travel advisor end users. Ability to export data, import data and format data in Excel
*Conscientious about the quality and accuracy of data and information
*Works well in a virtual team environment and demonstrates respect for team members (Miami, FL, Irving TX, Alexandria VA, Plymouth, MN, Montevideo, Canada)
*Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects
*Aptitude for patience and understanding working with novice users of CRM applications and customer databases
*Familiarity with email sending and scheduling from marketing automation platform
*Strong organization skills, attention to detail
*Decision-maker
