Vision & Strategy
Develop vision and goals for the product. Provide high-level roadmap for internal & external stakeholders, give direction to the Product Owner.

Portfolio Mgmt.
Develop a strategy for the entire portfolio, incl. End-of-Life plans, product integrations, collaboration with Industry Solutions on go-to-market plans and business cases. Monitor & adjust resourcing requirements.

Launch Plan
Select launch dates, ensure training is rolled out to sales channels, support and others. Communication & building momentum across the business.

Product Compliance
Ensure compliance of the product with Descartes standards & processes, i.e. Billing procedures, GDPR doc., SOC2 audit, ISO27001 cert., Disaster recovery etc.

Buy, Build or Partner
Determine the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified market problem – analyze whether to buy, build or partner.
