Project Manager, Compliance

Reporting to the Manager, Compliance, this role will lead Internal Audit projects and conduct regulatory and consumer complaint investigations.

The PM will implement best practices with regards to:
•Monitoring and reporting on compliance within the Business Unit, including monthly executive level compliance reporting and deck preparation.
•Compliance exceptions - identify, analyze, track and remediate.
•Ensuring remediation strategies and action plans are on track, providing project management for larger initiatives that involve compliance concerns. This will entail working with many other teams and Business Units within the organization.
•Becoming an expert on the rules and regulations that govern the purchase and sale of US real estate.
•Researching rules and regulations within each state to further build out the applicable law matrix which will be the foundation for new operations/product offerings for our brokerage Business Unit.
•Maintaining and driving the yearly compliance governance calendar and associated responsibilities.
•Maintain the Change Control Board – run meetings and track changes requiring compliance and/or Legal work and approval.

Qualifications include:
•PMP certification or equivalent
•Bilingual English command
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups
•Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
•Experienced in Windows, Microsoft Office and Project Management tools
•Ability for learning and operating digital tools
• Four year college degree in business related careers (Administration, Accounting, Law, Engineering)
•1 to 3 years of experience in leadership positions are a plus.
