MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Montevideo, Uruguay. In this role you will contact and build influential relationships with customers, sales reps, and partner contacts. Your primary focus will be to find and qualify new and existing customers on the value of using Google systems and resources. The ideal Sales Development Representative is a self-driven, sales conscious relationship builder who can orchestrate and engage multiple stakeholders, enjoys a dynamic and high energy environment, and can quickly articulate technical and business value propositions via phone, email, and video conferencing.
What will you do?
· Source and qualify new and existing customers through outbound email outreach and outbound calling
· Convert warm leads into appointments and create great experiences for business customers
· Manage contact info, schedules, calendaring, and communications
· Maintain Salesforce hygiene
· Be proactive with contact management
· Precise attention to detail while continually optimizes the process to exceed goals
· Engage with internal Google employees and create value with sales opportunities we uncover in their territory.
Desired attributes for success:
· Two years or more of sales experience preferred
o Any specific experience with SAAS (Sales as a Service) or Education is helpful
· Excellent sales skills with proven ability to meet and exceed goals with opportunities to advance into other sales teams within MarketStar and Google.
· Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology. Familiarity with common sales tools such as Gmail and Salesforce
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding telephone presence
· Ability to effectively stay task oriented in a dynamic environment
· Self-motivated, adaptable, decisive, and professional
· Fluent English and/or Portuguese required
