SATELLOGIC: Global Accounts Payable Supervisor

We look for:

Candidates with Accounting Bachelor's degree, proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular) and experience with ERP’s.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and in English are a must.
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience with 2+ within a leadership/ senior level will be required.
Applicants must have the ability to work with minimum supervision (autonomy), analytical skills, proactivity, proficient organizational and time management skills (to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion in a fast-paced environment), as well as team work abilities.

Target position:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for managing the accounts payable team and ensuring the timely processing and payments of invoices. This position will be required to drive operational process improvement and development efforts and work collaboratively with other functional areas of the organization.
In this role, you will oversee and review the accounts payable staff, including supervising, training, developing, and managing the team workload and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments; ensure timely period close in the processing of accounts payable and monitoring the monthly accrual process; work with Treasury department to ensure proper management of cash outflows; reconciliate vendor statements and selected general ledger accounts including credit card liability, petty cash, etc.; be responsible for problem-solving, and the continued driving of efficiencies and improvements within the accounts payable and payment processes; ensure that check disbursement runs equal disbursements recorded in the Accounts Payable system; assist external auditors, in audit and research functions related to the Accounts Payable Department; assist personnel with cash disbursement inquiries and the investigation and resolution of supplier payment disputes or issues; be responsible for providing support to accounts payable application users within the Company; work with Accounting Manager to increase operational efficiencies; implement, document, and manage processes as required for operations and assist with special projects.
