Senior Jasper Report Developer

Job Description

We are looking for proactive individual with solid experience in PostgreSQL and developing complex reports on Jaspersoft Studio, who is willing to work in a dynamic startup environment. The Senior Jasper Report Developer will create and maintain reports to meet the information needs of individual users and departments in an international context.

Responsibilities

- Develops and modifies reports according to user requirements
- Will work directly with end users to flush out specifications as needed for more complex report requirements
- Respond to service desk support requests

Requirements:

Languages: Excellent English working knowledge: verbal and written communication.

IT skills:
- 2 or more years of experience using report writing tools
- In depth knowledge of SQL, including the ability to understand complex data schemas and join structures in order to write queries that perform efficiently
- Direct working experience with PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of Jaspersoft Studio in complex reports

- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knack for problem solving and turning business needs into technical solution
- Desire to stay current with technology and a willingness to learn
- Be comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines
- Excellence verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and clients from multiple locations
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience will be valued
