UPM: Sourcing Manager

UPM Uruguay is looking for a Sourcing Manager who will ensure local operations have a competitive supply in all market conditions, following UPM Principles and Business Rules.

We are looking for:
A person with strong leadership and negotiation skills, commitment to achieving results and ability to implement and boost changes.
University degree in engineering or another relevant field and relevant work experience in sourcing, managing people, big volumes and budget will be required, as well as knowledge and/or experience in Supply Chain (desired) and knowledge in International commerce and Free Trade Zone Regulation (desired). Also needed excellent verbal and written skills in English.

Target position:
The position will lead Sourcing and Contracting strategy for all operations based in Uruguay.

Will develop supply, cost, quality/sustainability and innovation with the suppliers, driving high performance supporting the realization of business strategy.
Negotiate contracts, ensuring cost efficiency and supply quality through the process in all market conditions both on short and long term.
Maximize synergies between operations applying Sourcing and Compliance UPM principles
Lead tendering processes for main products, services, investments.
Constantly coach and develop Sourcing team throughout positive & inspirational leadership
Forecast and report main activities and KPI´s.
