PURPOSE STATEMENT
Working alongside a small team of dedicated inventory & pricing analysts, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize inventory usage for a given territory.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement new and improved methodologies for inventory management and distribution.
• Extract and assess internal data providing detailed reports to identify inventory opportunities and highlight risks.
• Mitigate utilization risks via exchange allocation level adjustments and/or pricing adjustments.
• Produce analysis to ensure effective delivery of inventory management and pricing objectives, identifying solutions and escalation where necessary.
• Communicate the results of your work both verbally and written, with senior members of the team, own manager, and the wider global Revenue Management team.
• Have a bias for action with interest and strengths in competitive strategy and innovation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and revenue driven.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, look ups, charts and formulas)
• Strong communicator and relationship building skills.
• Keen eye for detail
• Team player
• Self-motivated, Focussed, and highly organised.
• SQL knowledge and/or a statistical qualification
• Previous experience in a hotel or OTA environment would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in Revenue Management would be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably educated to degree in Economics, Business administration or have previous experience in a pricing or revenue management environment.
