SEO Analyst JR

PedidosYa, the largest online food-ordering platform in Latam, is looking for a Junior SEO Analyst: people who are passionate about creativity and communication, but also with great logical, technical and analytical skills, who can carry out the execution of our SEO Strategy.

SEO (short for Search Engine Optimization) is the process of improve the organic visibility of a digital asset - a website or an app - through Search Engines - like Google, to the main results (the higher the better).

We are seeking for people that fits (or wants to fit) in the following criteria, that can help our brand to be more relevant in organic listings or features in Search Engines.

Primary Job Functions:

Responsible for the SEO execution for our key markets
Provide analysis and recommendations to improve our digital assets using data and your own insights
Understand audience search behaviors and seize opportunities to be visible to them
Analyze the food market on Search Engines and perform Competitive Benchmarks
Execute Content Marketing actions with the Communication Team
Drive agencies to reach our business goals
Perform Technical Analysis and make specifications of each required implementation to the IT team

Required Skills:

Background of Marketing / Communication / Digital Media / Engineering / Business Administration
Digital marketing passionate
Data-driven personality with strong mathematical and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced level of written and spoken English
Written Content Creation abilities in Spanish
Fundamental understanding of HTML code and site architecture
Innovative thinker, positive attitude, constant learner and trend hunter
Great autonomy and proactivity
Cross-team negotiation skills and superior communications skills
This is an in-house position based out of our Montevideo office in Uruguay

Desired Skills:
1 or more years in SEO experience
Passionate about reading digital marketing and SEO blogs
Experience in Google Analytics, Omniture or other analytics platforms
Experience in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Majestic, Moz, Ahrefs or similar
Basic level of written and spoken Portuguese
Programmatic Skills in web based languages like PHP, Ruby or Java
Understanding of CSS design and UI
SEM or CRO knowledge
