Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements
• Completion of professional accounting designation
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; solid leadership and coaching skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; strong organizational and time management skills.
Assets:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains

Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance coordinator, the Financial Analyst will play a hands-on role in the preparation and analysis of financial accounting and reporting. When needed the Financial Analyst will also assist with special projects.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring accurate and timely month end closing of accounting records
• Preparing working papers and reconciliation schedules to support accounting close
• Assist in the analysis of monthly P&L variances
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual Financial statements and MD&A
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and year-end audit files
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes
• Assisting with ad hoc special projects (integration, systems implementation etc.).
